These Charlotte Area Mini Sessions Are Perfect For You If You........
Want a more abbreviated session
We keep that time short and sweet in mini family sessions. Usually they are anywhere from 15-20 minutes (make sure to check the details when you book) and that is the perfect amount of time to capture a handful of treasured images of those you love the most.
want images of your immediate family
Because the time is kept short, mini sessions are limited to immediate family only and sometimes are even kiddo-only sessions. So if you considered adding more members of your extended family like grandma/grandpa or aunts/uncles then make sure to book a full family session. And make sure to check all the details before you book to make sure that you are booking a family or kiddo only mini session.
love the preselected location choice
Mini sessions are scheduled back to back in a photographer selected location and usually that location is more exclusive or includes a fun set/props (like in holiday sessions) to make your photos pop or to fit a fun theme!
Are not looking to spend tons of cash
While there are costs for props, location fees, rentals, advance time to edit, etc that are part of the cost to conduct mini session.....these sessions are usually a more cost effective way to capture a handful of fun images of your fam!
Have kiddos that are quick to warm up
If your kiddo is naturally outgoing and comfortable with new faces—not just with Mama and Daddy but with people they see in the community—a mini session might be a great fit! Some children are all smiles from the start, making the shorter session ideal for capturing their joy without needing extra warm-up time. If your little one is easygoing, loves to explore, and adjusts quickly, a mini session can be a fun and efficient way to create beautiful memories!
Consider Booking A Charlotte Full Family or Extended Family Photo Session If...
Are including more than just your crew
Like I mentioned above, if you are wanting to include family outside of your immediate family make sure to contact me to book an extended family session. There just isn't enough time in mini sessions to include anyone outside your immediate family so please make sure to let me know if you need more info on including grandparents/extended family!
You have small kiddos who are slower to warm up
Do you have kiddos under the age of 3-4? Are they great with people or are they super shy? Kids are kids and no kiddo is the same. If it takes your little one a little longer to warm up, then getting those smiling images you are hoping for might require a full family session so we have a little extra time to focus on a variety of special moments till that little one is ready to shine!
Can't imagine pics without your fur family!
Hoping to bring your furry family - well this is hit and miss - some locations allow for pets and so do not so make sure to check the details of the session prior to booking and if the location is a no-pet location then a full family session will help to make sure we have all the time to get all the puppy love in your pics!

Do you have a Charlotte area location you really want to use......then for sure book a full family session because the locations for minis are set by me.....but I am always down to check out somewhere new and fun so book early and let's go!!

Booking a limited edition (or mini) session is a great option when you want to make sure you have a few yearly photos of your crew for lots of different uses: holiday cards, updating those frames in your home, or even for gifts for family ---- cough cough ----- grandma always loves pics of her babies!!! But let's go over details so you can choose what works best for your crew!
Just need a few images
Because mini sessions are limited in time they are also limited in the quantity of final images you receive in your gallery. So if you are only looking for a handful of images - mini sessions are the way to go!
