Great news, since we are an experienced and specialized Maternity photography studio we provide a full client closet for our sessions. Clients will have the ability to review all the available options within the client closet and we will work closely together to make sure your selections are perfect for your session vision!
What locations do you recommend for my Maternity session?
Clients have the options of booking either a studio or outdoor session. All studio sessions are conducted in my Waxhaw, NC studio. Clients who choose an outdoor session will have the option of an am or pm session, in the best light of the day, and we will choose the best location based on the timing of your session and the location that best fits the style of your session.
What if I feel self conscious about my new body?
I understand that some mamas may feel body-conscious during their maternity session, and I’m here to make sure you feel confident and comfortable every step of the way. I’ll guide you through wardrobe choices that highlight your beautiful bump and showcase your natural glow, helping you choose styles that make you feel your best. With expert posing and my experience, I’ll ensure you look and feel amazing, capturing every precious moment of this special time in a way that celebrates your unique beauty.
What happens if the weather is bad for my outdoor session?
If you choose an outdoor session, we'll keep an eye on the skies together, and I'll follow my weather policy to make sure everything goes smoothly. This is why it's important to book your session within the recommended time frame—if those dark clouds roll in, we’ll have plenty of time to reschedule and find a new perfect moment!
Do you provide hair and make up for the Maternity session?
I have a handful of hair and makeup artists that I highly recommend. Most will come to your home for your convenience and ensure you are comfortable during your session preparation. If you live outside 30 minutes of the studio and are doing a mommy only studio session you are also welcome to have the artist of your choice come here 1 hour before your session start time - and I am happy to contact one of my preferred artists for you. (hair & make up is typically an additional *200.00 fee)
