For this milestone session, I chose a backdrop that would stand the test of time. A classic white wainscoting background with a clean white floor and framed with a sheer white curtain. The elegant, clean lines of the wainscoting add a touch of sophistication and charm, which perfectly complemented her outfit.
We wanted the focus to be on Gia, her personality, and her joy at turning two, so the simplicity of the decor allowed her to shine while still offering a beautiful, timeless aesthetic.
The Birthday Girl’s Outfit: A Touch of Sparkle
Little G’s mom chose to dress her in a soft pink tulle dress adorned with delicate gold sparkles—a perfect blend of playful and chic. The layers of tulle created a dreamy, princess-like effect, while the gold accents added a festive touch that was ideal for celebrating such a special occasion. Her dark hair framed her face beautifully, making each photo a stunning portrait that parents will cherish for years to come.
We made sure to incorporate fun props as well, like a couple of large number “2s”! Toward the end of the session I even brought out some balloons for added fun. These props not only highlight the significance of turning two but also serve as playful elements that bring joy and excitement to the shoot.
