Just over a year ago, I had the absolute joy of photographing a lifestyle newborn session for this sweet family as they settled into their beautiful Charlotte, NC home. When mom reached out to share the exciting news of their third pregnancy, my heart swelled with happiness. I couldn’t wait see them again—this time, for a session devoted entirely to their newest little newborn baby girl, Isla. Watching families grow and being entrusted to preserve these fleeting moments is such an honor, and Isla’s session was nothing short of pure sweetness.
A Special Session for a Special Newborn Baby Girl
With two busy toddlers at home, Isla’s mom wanted to do something a little different this time. She knew this might be her last baby, and she wanted a session that focused solely on Isla, allowing her to soak in every precious detail of her newest little love without distraction. We planned a beautiful and stress-free experience in the studio, where she could relax while I captured Isla’s perfect little features in a timeless way.
To make the session extra special, we carefully curated a mix of colors to create a unique and stunning gallery. We incorporated the family’s favorite color—green—for a sentimental touch, added a perfect shade of purple because mom wanted something non-traditional, and, of course, included soft cream and pink because every baby girl needs a splash of pink.
