Capturing Molly’s one-year milestone session was an absolute joy! From the moment Molly arrived to my studio in her adorable floral dress with her hair tied up in a pink bow, it was clear this session would be something special. Her outfit perfectly complemented her sweet and playful personality, while the pink bow added a delicate touch that matched her first birthday theme beautifully.
For the session, we opted for a neutral background. This choice allowed Molly’s charm and personality to shine without distractions. Neutral tones are ideal for milestone photography, as they ensure timeless photos that focus on the child and their expressions, gestures, and milestones.
To make the milestone session interactive and memorable, I brought a variety of props to spark Molly’s curiosity and creativity:

She then grabbed one of my little props and, without even realizing it, stood aone for the very first time! This was such an incredible milestone moment to witness—one that her parents and I were thrilled to capture.
